Customers rave about the quick and friendly service, ensuring that your dining experience is as delightful as the food itself.
Reviewers such as Mindy Song and Leon Zhang have praised the authenticity of flavors, citing the beef pho and beef cheek curry as must-try dishes. The pho broth, described as “delicious” and “one of the best,” showcases the kitchen's commitment to quality and taste. No meal at Sen is complete without a taste of their passionfruit prawns, a dish that perfectly balances sweetness and spice.
The ambiance at Sen, though noted as being on the darker side, adds to its charm, creating a cozy dining environment that feels both historic and inviting. However, as mentioned in reviews, larger parties may find the table setup a bit awkward, a minor detail in an otherwise stellar experience.
Guests like Helen Treasure have highlighted the quality of ingredients, with dishes like the tender pork ribs and juicy chicken leaving a lasting impression. While there may be suggestions for improvements, such as serving meals on heated plates, the overall sentiment echoes excitement and satisfaction among diners.

Whether you're a local or just visiting, Sen is a destination where every bite tells a story and every meal is a celebration of Vietnamese culinary artistry.
“ Amazing bar and atmosphere - we sat in the loft and it was an awesome, intimate environment. There was over 20 of us there and the service was quick friendly - and best of all delicious!! Everyone raving about their food, absolutely would go again. Prices are also industry standard for above standard meals! Give it a go, I promise you won't be disappointed. ”
“ Loved it!! Flavours were delicious and authentic. Everything tasted so good! Really enjoyed the beef pho, spring rolls, beef cheek curry and passionfruit prawns. The staff were lovely and great service. The ambience was nice but on the darker side, the only downside was the tables weren’t quite designed for larger groups as they put together two round tables for our group of 7 so it was a bit awkward. ”
“ The service so cute, enjoy the environment and the food. Will to try next time. ”
“ Amazing. One of the best Vietnamese food I ever had. The pho broth is so delicious! ”
“ I had a great experience at Sen Vietnamese Kitchen for a group dinner. The ambiance was inviting, and we had good-sized portions to share. I particularly liked being seated at the mezzanine level. The food was tasty, although the braised pork was a bit salty for my liking. Overall, the service was excellent, making for a lovely evening! ”
“ Great food with a nice ambience! We got the shaking beef, chargrilled chicken and salmon curry. Beef was juicy and tender, chicken paired well with the peanut satay sauce. Salmon curry was an interesting combination, it wasn’t bad but both have distinct flavours so I felt like they did not blend but this was expected. Service could be a little bit improved as it felt a slow but we were in a group setting so we could just chat away. ”
“ This is a return visit, I was here with a group of friends. The food was good and it was a warm city atmosphere. The waiter had to be flagged down several times to get drinks and order dessert. It was not busy. He needed to be more aware. I had the duck it was tender and found the sauce a bit sweet. My friend who had the beef cheek curry loved it. The chocolate dessert was ok, but little dry the ice cream saved it. The espresso was incredible and worth a return visit. ”
“ Had a wonderful meal here with my son. We both appreciated the gorgeous historic building and the delicious food. My son had the pork ribs and I had the chicken. The meat was very tender and juicy and the sauce tasty. The only improvement would be to serve the meals on heated plates. Other than that, we were both really happy with our dining experience at Sen. ”
